Burkhard Mahler continues to raise the bar with in the genera with his latest
release Fusion White Classics II.
As a fan of all things ambient I
can appreciate the open space & sonic musical textures Mahler has
brilliantly crafted on his music. Additionally
Mahler’s compositions are
also an amazing fusion of styles, making his unique style of music quite
groundbreaking. He skillfully blends guitars, synths & ambient beats with
perfect balance. This gives everything equal space within the
atmosphere. There is clearly a lot of improvisation in his work as
well, as a result many of the songs present what I would
describe as brilliant musical meandering. This quality allows the
catalogue to magically flow across your ears & fill your sonic space
with peacefully & unobtrusively.

 When guitarist
singer, songwriter David Silva left his home for fame & fortune in LA he
moved into a building called Moorpark Oasis. While he was there he met & fell in
love with his future wife, earned enough to buy his first good guitar, but also
where he his stride as a songwriter. Moorpark Oasis is an amazing collection of
songs written by Silva over the years. Silva brings so much to the table: his
playing, his singing, his song writing, his wisdom, his bold honesty, his sense
of humor, & yes his life experiences. All the messages are passionate & are sung
from a deeply honest perspective. The writing, playing abilities of Silva & his
band are clearly above the bar, & I especially liked some of the fancy fretwork
I heard on there as well. So if you like a classic
Americana
experience that will show Silva’s brilliant perspective of love, loss, & life
itself I highly recommend you jump head first into Moorpark Oasis. Moorpark
Oasis recently won CD OF THE YEAR over at Indie Music Digest.

own Saint Mad releases their debut CD “Waiting to Start” in the Spring
2009. This is their debut release. Saint
Mad is just a blast to listen to, & as
the CD progressed I became more & more impressed with this 4 piece. Their music is highly original, extremely
melodic, & will lift your spirits without even trying. Influences include such
classic acts as Dr.
John, Bob Dorough, Peter Paul & Mary, & even Joni Mitchell.
The musicianship is first
rate, the songs are short & sweet musical experiences, each one possessing a
unique personality, flair, & signature groove. Lastly - the writing, and
singing abilities of Saint Mad is world class. Saint Mad let's it
all hang out delivering music that is as much fun as it is entertaining. I look

members of Fractal Rock have been diligently recording and mixing
their first album. The album titled: Fractals and Filigree is
their out-of-the-box approach to merging classical music (that stuff
most people hate) with jazz elements and classical rock.
Fractal Rock's first Compact Disk of 17 songs will be free, as a
matter of fact you can even copy the Compact Disk and give it away
to your friends.
Fractal Rock's
signature sound is ear-marked with tasteful guitar melodies,
underpinned with colorful sound-scapes created with old school
layers of Hammond Organ, Yamaha Piano, and off the hook state of the
art keyboard synthesis. This broad band approach is pushed forward
on a locomotive style Rickenbacker bass guitar and the pounding
arithmetic pulse like electricity of a signature series DW Drum
Kit. All of this great music is accentuated and topped off with
vocal melodies by a very talented lead singer, and
killer harmonies from a backup singer/out of this
world percussionist.

SYNTH TECHNO - INDUSTRIAL
 Synth
Techno group Sintetico Ministerio hails from Brazil. The band is
comprised of 3 core members; female vocalist Snow Lacamia, male vocalist Gutisk,
and programmer Jhonny Darko.
Sintetico Ministerio in English
means Synth Ministry, hence Sintetico is like saying Synthpop in European. You
will notice many interesting electronic soundscapes, driving rhythms, and
pulsating bass groves layered throughout their music. Enter the sinister vocal
tandems of Snow and Gutisk the music gets even more dark and foreboding. The
band has developed a huge following in Brazil and is now turning its attention
to the US. Their amazing debut CD combines an impressive blend of modern
trancelike dance groves, with heavy industrial-esque vibes. Some of the material
gives off a goth-like, NIN vibe, while others are reminiscent of classic 80’s
techno. Their live performances are explosive, and entertaining. Singles of the
